| Patent Pending Technology |
 |
| |
Sniplit.com uses a patent pending Internet
model that improves ease of use, utility, and customer satisfaction in the
field of local marketplace advertising. Conventionally, sellers must use either
nationwide internet selling tools such as eBay.comTM or local
selling tools such as newspaper classifieds to advertise their products for
sale. However, nationwide selling tools are usually limited to lightweight,
easy-to-ship items because shipping heavy or bulky items, such as a car,
furniture, sports equipment, or a pet, is either prohibitively costly or
impossible. Further, local classifieds usually require a potential buyer to
visit the seller to visually inspect the item for sale before an offer is
tendered because providing a detailed description or photographs of the item
for sale is also too costly or not possible.
|
|
|
|
Sniplit.com is a one-of-a-kind solution to these problems. Using Sniplit.com, a
seller can post photographs and a detailed description of an item for sale, and
then designate a short, memorable, and descriptive web address that the seller
can then advertise using local selling tools. For example, a seller of an
antique couch may post several photos and a detailed description of the couch
on her very own web page on the Sniplit.com website, and then designate her
page by the domain www.sniplit.com/couch. Then, she may place a short, simple,
inexpensive classified ad that allows potential buyers to make a purchase
decision without first having to personally inspect the couch. The ad might
read:
|
| |
| Jacksonville -- Couch for sale, $250, see
www.sniplit.com/couch |
| |
| By allowing potential buyers to view a wealth of
information and photographs before even contacting the seller, the seller can
sell large, bulky, or otherwise unshippable items through local selling tools
without having to entertain dozens of frustrating phone calls. Further, buyers
are more likely to buy when they have access to more information without having
to drive to the seller's home. |
